We have a tentative reservation at Jon J Duerr Forest Preserve in South Elgin for this weekend. This is right along the river and the bike path, with lots of hiking nearby.
When we have camped here in the past, Scouts have brought their bicycles and we have had parents drop off and pick up right from camp.
