Troop 10: Scouting for everyone!

Troop 10 provides a year-round program for all boys age 11-17, and encourages participation by those of every religion, race, culture, economic background, individual diversity and ability. We maintain an environment that is free from discrimination and that embraces the principles of equality, excellence, and mutual respect.

Troop 10: We have adventures!

Troop 10 Scouts plan out monthly camping trips that take them to a variety of places. They explore caves, dig for fossils, go fishing, canoe, rock-climb, hike, have fun and learn about the outdoors!

Troop 10: We care for nature!

Troop 10 is chartered by the Izaak Walton League of Elgin. The Izaak Walton League (“The Ikes”) is one of the oldest conservation group in America. With the Izaak Walton League’s 11 acre nature reserve, our troop has the opportunity to explore and learn about nature each week.

Troop 10: We learn cool stuff!

Scouts in Troop 10 work together to earn their ranks, experience new things and learn leadership skills. Through the merit badge program, scouts explore a variety of interests and occupations.
